tell us WHERE to find birds, butterflies, mammals,
salmon, wildflowers, fall color, gardens, scenic drives, waterfalls, and geologic formations.

I have also described some of my favorite WA State
locations where I go to enjoy and photograph nature --
and I've shared with you the best time to visit each place.

Janet O'Mara and I have also written a book,
Washington Nature Weekends, 
that gives you the scoop on
52 customized nature adventures --
one for each weekend of the year.

My goal is for each of you to have a peak
seasonal nature experience and learn to love the
land and the wildlife of our western states --  
because what you love, you will want to protect,
thus the reason for the environmental section
of this website.
