Profiles of People Who Help the Environment
Government Employees

Under Construction

Introduction

Several government employees provided special help over the last few years while I was researching my book "Washington Nature Weekends."  These dedicated, passionate, and sharing individuals contribute greatly to the environment - above and beyond the requirements of their jobs.  I think you will find their activities and accomplishments inspiring and a wonderful example of what one person (or two) can do.

Other environmentally-friendly government employees who were helpful in my book research include:

John Garrrett, Skagit Wildlife Area Manager -- snow geese and trumpeter swans
Mark Stafford, U.S. Geological Survey Biologist, Ozette Ranger Station -- sea otters
Mike Judge and Madonna Luers, WDFW -- Weekender Report authors
Pam Camp, BLM District Botanist -- wildflowers
Randy Hill, USFWS Wildlife Biologist, Columbia NWR -- sandhill cranes
