Subject: Walker Fork/Saddle Bag Lakes I just went to a lecture on the wildflowers of the Mono Lakes Basin - Tioga Pass area, put on the CNPS (California Native Plant Society) The slide show was great, covering early spring to autumn. One of the areas the lecturer covered was the Walker Fork area, she said in early August it is a great place for wildflower walks/Photography. She also shared that at Saddlebag lake, one can find the endangered Yosemite Toad. Fascinating information. nfrlprdpr@yahoo.com |
